The term for Mayor is two years and four years for Council.
All applicants shall be qualified electors under the state constitution and shall have resided in the city during the 12 months immediately before being elected or appointed to the office.
The filing fee of $10 or a petition with a minimum of 10% of the registered voters or 25 elector’s signatures may be submitted.
